Dear Daniel,

I am the president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center which has submitted the ad “Palestinian Wall of Lies” to the Daily Spectator, which you have rejected. (The text of the ad is available at www.walloflies.org). As this is a First Amendment issue critical to a free press, and since a slightly modified version of this ad has appeared in the UCLA Daily Bruin (February 25, 2011) please specify which passages of our ad you find inappropriate, political, prejudicial or inflammatory. Please also assure me that you have never run an advertisement critical of Israel or supportive of Palestinian rights or causes. Please also provide me a copy with the Spectator’s definition of “political” for the purposes of this policy.

Sincerely,

David Horowitz

Hi Elizabeth,
After conferring with the Publisher of the Columbia Daily Spectator, it has been determined that the ad material you submitted is inappropriate for publication in the paper. It has always been our policy not to print expressly political ads or ones that we judge to be prejudicial or inflammatory…

Exclusive material, thank you to the writer. It is actually incomprehensible in my opinion at present, however in common, the usefulness and importance is mind-boggling. With thanks and all the best…

  7. Hi Jawienir,
Thanks you for your post, I have 5 family members (first cousins) that are graduates from that school, and all of them are top notch students and in HS they were top 5 of their graduating class.

“”It seems that there is yet another radical professor from the neighborhood who spent a lot of time with Barack Obama going back several years,””

i wonder if she even ever sat in an ivy league university, because I highly doubt it. If she only had the brains, she would have known, that most ivy league professor do worldwide work unlike little state university professors who just only teach.

Kinda like Tony Blair who got a job at Yale or Princeton not sure, as a Professor to teach about God and Politics.

So its like a person taking Blair’s class or just knowing him through daily meetings getting accused by someone else of now being favoring british politics.

Btw Only the world’s elite of the elite smart ones go to the ivy league universities, (the academic scholarship ones). Not the you know daddy is a governor, so let me send my son with his C average to Yale
    Keep up the good work
