Cornell University – The Cornell Daily Sun

note – This ad rejection was for our “Voices of Palestine” Ad.

Dear Mr. Wienir-

Thank you for your interest in advertising with The Cornell Daily Sun.  Unfortunately, we will not be running your advertisement in our paper.  We understand that your advertisement has run in other school papers, but The Cornell Daily Sun is not the only means of communication with Cornell University.  If you are interested in having your advertisement be seen by Cornell students I suggest you look into other forms of communication with the University.

Will your Ad manager or editor could explain to us why they are potentially offensive and who they would be offensive to?  These are simply quotes from leaders within Palestine and we haven’t editorialized anything.

Hi Mr. Wienir,

Unfortunately because of the potentially offensive content of the ad we won’t be able to run it in the paper. If you have any questions or concerns just let me know.
